Cosmetics Packaging firm selects Injection Works for Mold Design and Molding of
High Volume, Thin-wall Threaded Tubes
The product is a long, thin-wall tube featuring external threads, and its use would not permit a longitudinal parting line. After investing a significant amount of time and capital with another injection molding supplier for a new, multi-cavity mold, this customer was faced with large production orders for product that could not be filled. The original vendor designed and built a non-functioning mold. After numerous design meetings, Injection Works was selected to start from scratch and build a new mold and supply consistent quality product. It’s been reported by our customer that no other company is able to manufacture similar products as economically as the Injection Works-designed mold does.
